On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, a farewell gathering was held for six students from the Chinese Language Department. The Acting Dean of the College of Languages, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saman Hussein Omar, together with the Head of the Chinese Language Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaifi Mohammed, and faculty members of the department, met with a number of students who are scheduled to participate in a six-month training course in China in the near future.
During the meeting, the students were encouraged to make the most of this valuable academic opportunity and to represent their college and university in the best possible manner.
It is worth noting that the College of Languages annually sends a number of its students to China and other countries to participate in academic courses and scientific programs. These opportunities provide significant educational, cultural, and professional benefits to the participants and contribute to enhancing their academic and language skills.
