At an academic meeting held on Monday, 9/2/2026, at the Presidency Office of Salahaddin University, Prof. Dr. Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of the University, welcomed a delegation from the College of Languages. The delegation included the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saman Hussein Omar, the Head of the Chinese Language Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaifi Mohammed Aziz, along with a number of staff from the department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Dean and the staffs of the aforementioned department, noting that the department has been witnessing noticeable scientific and academic progress day after day.
During the meeting, he also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Consul of the People’s Republic of China, acknowledging their influential role in continuously supporting and cooperating with the Chinese Department and other departments of the College of Languages in organizing scientific conferences, academic debates, cultural and artistic festivals, as well as arranging scientific study trips for students to China.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President reaffirmed Salahaddin University’s commitment to providing all forms of cooperation and support to the Chinese instructors so they can further serve the students of the College of Languages.
