On May 25, 2023, a delegation from the German DAAD Organization, led by Joybrato Mukherjee, the head of the German DAAD Organization for World Affairs, along with Benjamin Schmeling, the head of the DAAD Organization for Middle East Affairs, and Joan Khalis, the head of the DAAD Organization in Erbil, visited the German Language Department in the College of Languages. They were welcomed by the President of the University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kamran Yunis, and the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Saman Hussain, the Head of the Department of German Language Assist. Prof. Dr. Lanja Dabagh, and the Assistant Dean of the College, Mr. Talaat Tahir. During the visit, the delegation met with the staff of the Department of German Language and reiterated their continuous support for the Department.
